“ WHICHEVER ONE OF YOU HAS COMMITTED NO SIN MAY CAST THE FIRST VOTE…”
There are two rules, among others, in this world : divine and human. Since, "our bodies are for God's glory " [1 Cor. 6:13-18],being "the temples of the Holy Spirit" [1 Cor, 3:16-17; 1 Cor. 6:19] and marriage is a sacred sacrament[1 Cor. 7:2-11], LIES, SEX , AND IMMORALITY [pre-marital and extra-marital] are absolutely sinful and wrongful with no exception under any circumstances. But man, the only creature that can defy his Creator, seemingly modifies and revises that divine rule.
Biblically, no man has seen God creating his kind [Gen. 1:26-27;Gen. 2:21-23] and so, since time immemorial , the procreation and multiplication [Gen. 1:28] of his own kind [sex] is a always a private matter, to distinguish man from other animals [ 1 Cor. 15:39].
In this world , sex can be done unilaterally,[solely], bilaterally, multilaterally, [i.e., orgies], privately , publicly , morally, immorally [i.e., fornication, sex infidelity] normally, abnormally [i.e., lesbianism, homosexuality, sodomy, etc.] and criminally [rape, adultery, concubinage]. Man may either boastfully tell or lie about his sexual escapades.
Human rule madates that sex being a private matter anyone doing it publicly must either be a fool or a criminal [i.e, private and nude shows]. Additionally, being a private matter, human laws punish marital infidelity only upon instance of a private party- the aggrieved spouse.
Societal etiquette and good breeding in many nations teach us that only indecent, immoral , vulgar, and dishonorable men would openly talk, admit, expose his sexual prowess/ exploits in public gathering or would ask or inquire publicly the sex lives of others. On the subject of sex, officers, gentlemen, decent and moral men are expected to protect not only their offices, names, honor, their families but also the honor and name of the families of the women in their lives, even to the extent of repeatedly lying [i.e, "Ask me no question and I tell you no lies"]. Lying is divinely and absolutely sinful; however, from human view point, lies depend upon the subject and the corresponding consequences. Lies is relatively justified by some because of the dreadful consequences arising therewith if truth is told- parricide, murder, humiliation, shames, scandals, etc. In sex, to lie and deny ,being an honorable way because the honor and lives of others are at stake under the justifying rules of: "select the lesser evil" and "being private, the public has no right to know." But when human rules are changed overnight, there are always victims and persecutors. And worst, the sudden change occurs in USA where every nation seeks for democratic guidance and legal jurisprudence of the time-honored principles of privacy, fairness, justice and equality.
Sex is always a private affair because it only satisfies one or two, never for the satisfaction of its entire populace. Exceptionally, sex may become a public affair and of national interest if the nation is made to shoulder the cost of that private affair [i.e., sustaining it with graft and corruption] or if sex is leaking top military and vital secrets [i.e., the sex partner is spy of other country].
Sometimes, a nation may be confused with what is right or wrong. Formerly, at one time this great nation considered their President to commit wrong for violating "privacy"[i.e. wire-tapping in the Watergate Scandal]. Presently, it is considering their President to commit wrong for protecting his cherished "privacy", the integrity of his office, the honor of his family and that of the woman involved. He is being punished for lying and for influencing the woman to lie about their private encounters. But decency rules that only immoral, dishonorable, vulgar and stupid people would admit sex and private affairs in public.
We pose these queries: Is the legal jurisprudence on privacy and obscenity abandoned in favor of globalized INTERNET information? Do you think those who voted to release the reports/tapes are willing to do so, if it were their own privacy to be publicized? Is that nation inhabited with people and officers [except their President] who are incapable of committing lies, immorality , and free sex? Is their President no longer entitled to any form of privacy? Are their senators capable of admitting publicly their sex and extramarital escapades when asked publicly the same embarrassing questions ? Or are they, the breed of honorable gentlemen willing to lie publicly about it ? The answers to these questions would show whether they are fair, considerate and just to their President, whose honorable title is "His Excellency, The President!"
"Judging others" has biblical requirements [Mt. 7:1-5; Lk 6:37-38; 41-42]. Two thousand years ago, a woman was caught for adulteryand to be stoned according to the Jewish laws. Our sojourning Lord told them: "Whichever one of you has committed no sin may throw the first stone at her" [John 8:7-11] They left. "Is there no one left to condemn you?" "No one sir!" "I do not condemn you either. Go and sin no more."Now this query is relevant: "Whichever one of youhas committed no sin may cast the first vote ... of impeachment." "Why, not?"... " I have not sinned", a sinner says [But in 1 John 1: 8 this text appears: "If we have no sin, we deceive ourselves and there is no truth in us"].
Politics can change rules for any person, for any time and for any place because NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE in politics. After all ,"politics is a dirty game." Is this good in our legal and political science books, worthy to be studied someday by all ?
Yes, if we are NUTS!
